The Earth has been devastated by an invasion of amalgamated creatures, made from both flesh and steel. The world is a mixture of high-tech cyberpunk and grotesque, bio-engineered architecture can be found in even the buildings and landscapes. Technology and biology have merged in bizarre ways, and the humans’ quality of life has deteriorated significantly. These sentient machine-men now hunt and merge with other humans, to steal their lifespan and keep it for themselves, although this merging process takes time.
Our human protagonist is one of the agents hired by the last surviving human megacorporation, ChronoSyphonics Inc.. Their mission is to help the surviving humans resist the amalgamations and free humanity. They are provided with a unique gun, that can house many kinds of bullets.

The ChronoSyphonics Inc. Headquarters
The megacorporation aids the protagonist with mysterious machines, called “biosynthesizers”, spread all throughout Earth. However, before these machines can provide the human with special bullets, an offer must be made. The machine requires some of the human’s remaining lifespan in order to synthesize materials, as even the power network has been infected by the amalgamation.
Secretly, this megacorporation is behind the whole invasion. They had grown their company so exponentially, that they became masters at bioengineering. They wanted to use these machines to harvest the lifespan of civilians and use this to extend the lifespan of their higher-ups. However, the amalgamations that rose from these life-harvesting processes, acted rather unpredictably, and caused way more damage to Earth’s cities than the megacorporation ever intended. Now, in a desperate, last-ditch effort to save their own skin, they hire the agent.
